EXPERIENCE

Management/Administration

  • Function as member of management team. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

  • Design and deliver training and technical assistance to corporate and agency staff to build upon and be consistent with written policy, work plans, short range goals and Strategic Plan.

  • Provide training and support to Policy Council and delegate agency Policy Committee groups comprised of rotating community and family representative memberships.

  • Interpret federal and state regulations to facilitate policy formation and systems development.

  • Identify, develop and maintain partnerships with business, local universities, public officials, governmental entities and civic/faith-based groups.

University/Higher Education
  • Administered program to build partnerships between secondary schools, business/industry, and post-secondary institutions.

  • Research Associate/Assistant for projects including “Indecision versus Indecisiveness Among Students with Undeclared Majors”, Michigan Alcohol and Other Drug School Survey”, and various discrimination/affirmative action admission policy surveys.

  • Provided personal, group and career counseling to students and community clients.

  • Managed facilities of Center for Counseling and Psychological Services. Conducted preliminary screening of counseling clients and assigned to doctoral students.

  • Functioned as liaison to the Dean’s Office, advisor to campus associations and coordinator of university sponsored regional health association.

Early Childhood
  • Provide training to early childhood staffs on developmental indicators within identified domains of learning.

  • Administer and assess results of early childhood developmental instruments.

  • Partner with local university in developing and administering early childhood research. Collaborate with public school officials for continued K-1 tracking.

Technology
  • Administer client relational database and information tracking software application, network and remote systems. Provide training for users and content area supervisors.

  • Responsible for oversight of the integration of technology with program goals, strategies and reporting requirements.
